MICA leaders were recently invited to update the PRCA, the world’s largest association of PR professionals, on the latest automotive developments and trends. Committee members from McLaren, Fiat Group and Ford were interviewed, drawing on over 90 years’ combined industry experience across a wide range of different automotive sectors. The topic proved so interesting to the PRCA that what would normally be a 15 minute ‘Fuse’ Podcast ran to almost one hour of in-depth commentary.
With Roger Ormisher, McLaren’s vice-president of communications for The Americas; Richard Gadeselli who spent 36 years in global PR roles for Fiat; and Oliver Rowe with Ford European and UK perspectives; the interviewer was Dan Gold. Their discussion included the speed of modern day communications, the receptiveness and resistance to electrification around the world, and communications’ role in the adoption of new technology.
